On a perfect Austin autumn afternoon, seven of us took off from the Rowing Dock and headed south: JudyA, former guest and now member AnnaE, LindaF, NancyL who made a special trip from San Antonio for the occasion, DianeN, and guests GloriaW and DebbieW.
No unusual wildlife, bird life, plant life, or drones, but a young man and woman were demonstrating some rather strenuous yoga poses on their watercraft.
We had a smooth lake and fresh afternoon. Our return to the dock included a glorious Chamber-of-Commerce sunset behind the Austin skyline, to make a wonderful memory.
At the dock we were joined by GailP-C and her English visitor, Barbara.
Rounding out our farewell to TOWN’s weekday kayaking season, we finished the evening at Shady Grove with the good talk, hilarity, and the great plans for future outings that are a regular part of the TOWN experience.
