Hi All, Our Sunday hike started with 4 TOWNIES, Carolyn, Paula, Jody and me, as well as two Snouties, Waldi and Berta. We were just traveling along, enjoying the perfect weather when I tripped on a branch while carrying Berta, landing on my knee, hip and chipping a tooth. Fortunately, both dogs were fine, but they also landed on the ground with thud. Fortunately, I still am adorable with the chipped tooth as it is in the back of the front tooth. MY knee injury required bandages and the hip was already bruising. I must say I proudly an reporting that my tumble split a rock in the ground! The pups tangled with Paula and Jody who sat on the ground to help me, leaving Carolyn the lone one standing, while she gleefully dispersed medical advice and bandages. We were an odd looking group, 5 down and one standing.
Despite my clumsiness, It was a nice nice with perfect weather and friends! Until Next Time.. Happy Trails, Marsha
