If you are a member, detailed information of all outings are posted on Meetup . You can also check with other TOWN chapters for additional activities. Please make sure to RSVP so that the leader can have accurate attendance. Please monitor emails from Meetup for last minute information. You will be expected to fill out a Release Form. We do ask our members to be prompt. And notify the leader about unexpected delays or inability to attend an event.
Guests: Unless stated otherwise, the event is open to members and women guests only. It’s up to the discretion of the leader to open the event to other family members (men, children and pets), it will be stated explicitly. However, it’s always good to verify with the leader.
Requirements to attend an event: We try to make the event as inclusive as possible. However, there may be age or proficiency restrictions for some activities. They will be clarified in the description of the event. We take safety seriously. Leaders carry a 1st aid kit. Life jackets are required when kayaking, stand up paddling, and other water related activities. Helmets are required for all biking activities.
CALLING ALL THE LEADERS!
Our outings are volunteer led. Leading an activity is flexible, fun, and easy. Our Outings Chair will be happy to work with you to lead you.
- Please contact the Outings Chair at to add the activity to our Meetup calendar. She will make sure that there are no conflicts and all the information that is necessary is on Meetup.
- A checklist is available to help you plan an outing so you don’t forget anything.
- There is also a Liability Release Form .pdf, everyone must sign at the beginning of each outing.
