TOWN’s season of kayaking on Lady Bird Lake twice a month ends when the US returns to Standard Time. Those of us who had been paddling during the TOWN kayaking season found we were missing each other, and got together for dinner in November.
It was so enjoyable that we decided to do it again, and you are invited. No kayaking needed.
We will meet again at 6 pm on Wednesday 12 December at the new Irish pub Darcy’s Donkey (Darcy’s Donkey) at 1608 Barton Springs Road, between Shady Grove and Uncle Billy’s Brew and ‘Cue. Think about joining us. So we can request the right size space, it might be good if you let me know you might be coming, but feel free stop in even on a whim.
Also, think about whether you might like to kayak in the daytime once a month until we start paddling on the Lake again in April.
Yours, LindaF
