Hike – Bright Leaf Preserve

When: Saturday, January 19th at 9 am. Please be on time. I will open the gates at 8:45 am and lock the gates before we begin our hike.
Details: Bright Leaf Preserve is a private natural area of 216 acres. Only guided hikes are available. Distance is about 3 miles and the hike will last about 2 hours. If folks want to have lunch after the walk, we will do so.
Cost: Free
Wear: Tennis shoes or hiking shoes, hat, sunscreen; no sandals or flip-flops please
Bring: Water and snack; there is no potable water available.
Restroom: Port-a-Potty available in the parking lot
Pets: No pets, leashed or unleashed, at no time
Strollers: Will not work on the rocky, natural trails
Directions: Drivers should check the directions to the parking lot at our website: http://brightleaf.org/d.html . Sometimes car GPS units can take people to the wrong location. We will meet at the parking lot off 2222 and Creek Mountain Road.
