Background
In early 2021, JennyF approached the Board with the GOLDEN TOWNIE concept. That status would be granted to TOWN Austin members who had completed 80 trips around the sun. And the distinction would entitle the member to free TOWN Austin annual membership dues. That member would be a lifetime TOWN Austin GOLDEN TOWNIE member!
The Process
After our Board accepted Jenny’s suggestion, President JacqueA contacted member JenLaG who in the past had created great Thank You notes for our speakers. She ask Jen if she would be willing to create a card to use when honoring our GOLDEN TOWNIES. She readily accepted the project. Jen asked for text suggestions and Jenny’s suggestions were shared with her.
